Jordan has become a member of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) through the full membership of The Private Hospitals Association in cooperation with the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) and in coordination with all health sectors in Jordan, including: private, government, military and university hospitals.
The Chairman of the Private Hospitals Association, Dr. Fawzi Al Hammouri stated that this step is a result of the association's keenness in being a representative within healthcare councils, organizations and federations both locally and internationally and strengthening Jordan’s position internationally in healthcare, displaying the medical achievements, as well as contributing to improve health through providing healthcare institutions and facilities that are suitable and well managed.
