In a statement released on 31/1/2021,The Private Hospitals Association highly appreciated the initiative of His Majesty King Abdullah II to honor the martyrs of the White Army, including doctors, nurses, and health sector workers.
His Magesty’s initiative which is represented in awarding the King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein Medal for Excellence in the Gold Category and innocence, and a private royal letter to each medical staff who passed away while carrying out their duties due to the COVID19 Pandemic, is not the first and will not be the last to express His Majesty's great appreciation for healthcare providers in the medical sector, especially doctors and nurses, who worked so hard in order to treat and save the lives of those infected with the emerging corona virus.
Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri,The Chairman of the Private Hospitals Association, confirmed that workers in the public and private health sector, especially doctors, represented the knights of this country who sacrificied their lives in response to their call of duty and deserved the honor and appreciation of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the leader of initiatives. Which enabled Jordan to deal efficiently with the pandemic and placed it in a outstanding place in the list of countries that were able to control the disease and limit its spread.
Dr. Al-Hammouri Emphasize the partnership between the public and private sectors in addressing the pandemic, which led to the provision of treatment and intensive care beds for every Jordanian citizen and every resident in the Kingdom, and no patient was deprived of receiving treatment at a time when major countries were unable to provide treatment services to people infected with COVID19.
