Private Hospitals Association (PHA) participated in the Arabian Travel Market 2012 that took place in Dubai - United Arab Emirates during the period from 30/4/-3/5 2012 and witnessed that participation of large number of regional and international travel agencies that are interested in buying medical services for their clients.
The Private Hospitals Association (PHA) participation came due to the interest of the association of being part of these important international exhibitions and conventions and keep highlighting the fact that Jordan is an international hub for medical tourism regionally and internationally in addition to demonstrate to the competitive and advanced medical services in Jordan in terms of cost and high quality medical procedures comparing to other countries in the region.
The Private Hospitals Association CEO Mr. Abdallah Al Hindawi who represented the PHA in this exhibition said " the importance of participating in the Arabian Travel Market this year came because it gives us the opportunity to meet with travel agencies from all around the world that are interested in buying medical services from Jordanian private hospitals". He also highlighted that advanced negotiations are taking place now between PHA and insurance companies in UAE and GCC to sign corporate agreements to transfer Jordanian and Palestinian expats working in the GCC and GCC citizens to receive medical treatment in Jordan due to the excellent quality of healthcare services in Jordanian private hospitals, competitive cost comparing to other medical tourism destinations and familiarity of those patients in Jordan
Several Jordanian travel agencies, airline companies, hotels and spas participated within the Jordanian pavilion that was organized by Jordan Tourism Board (JTB).
