The Private Hospitals Association received a grant from the Jordan competitiveness program (JCP) funded by USAID from the Jordanian Medical Tourism Consortium which includes a number of private hospitals along with Royal Jordanian and the association to manage the consortium.
The Strategy of the consortium aims at marketing Jordan as a destination for medical tourism and increasing the number of patients coming to Jordan for treatment in its hospitals. The strategy targets 5 countries: Oman, Algeria, Chad, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
