Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, the Chairman of the Private Hospitals Association, revealed that the number of patients coming to the Kingdom to receive treatment reached nearly 90,000 patients during the first half of the current year 2022.
He said that Medical Tourism in Jordan has achieved remarkable growth since the beginning of the year, including various medical specialties.
He added that the Iraqi nationality ranked first in the number of patients coming for treatment in Jordan, then the Saudi nationality ranked second, and the Palestinian nationality ranked third.
Al-Hammouri added that the specialty of cardiovascular surgery ranked first in terms of the medical treatments offered to patients in Jordan, followed by orthopedic and joint surgery.
