The Ministry of Energy signs a Memorandum Of Understanding With the Private Hospitals Association

 

 
 
 
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources/Fund for the Promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Rationalization signed a memorandum of understanding with the Private Hospitals Association on 2/6/2022, with the aim of setting a framework for the cooperation mechanism between the two sides to implement any future projects with the aim of spreading a culture of rationalizing energy consumption and improving its efficiency in hospitals and raising awareness in this regard.
 
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, and the Chairman of the Private Hospitals Association, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, signed the memorandum of understanding during a meeting organized at the Marriott Hotel - Amman, in the presence of Mrs. Randa Al-Husun, the Ambassador of the United Nations Development Program in Jordan.
 
The memorandum also aims to enable and raise the competitiveness of the medical sector and provide innovative services and solutions in energy efficiency, in a way that contributes to improving the healthy work environment, reducing operating expenses of private hospitals, and reducing carbon emissions resulting from sources of energy use.
 
Dr. Al-Hammouri welcomed the signing of the memorandum of understanding and the positive and ambitious goals it contains in the interest of the private hospital sector by supporting its tireless efforts to reduce energy consumption and thus reduce its operating expenses, which is considered one of the most important goals of private hospitals and positively affects the development of their services provided to patients, and contribute to protecting the environment from the negative effects of energy use of all kinds
Dr. Al-Hammouri stressed the keenness of the Private Hospitals Association to partner with all relevant ministries and institutions in a manner that achieves common goals and the interest of the country and citizens, based on its permanent commitment to its responsibilities towards the private hospital sector and society.
