Private Hospitals Association receives a French economic and banking delegation

 

   

 
Deputy chairman of The Private Hospitals Association, Dr. Nael Zaidan, and the Board member of the Association Mr. Rifat Al Masri met with a French economic and banking delegation at the association head office on Monday, 19/2/2018.
 
The French delegation included the Director of the Export Promotion Office at the French Embassy in Cairo, Mr. Leidovik Prevo, and the Director of the Middle East region at the French Public Investment Bank, Mr. Emmanuel Brichar, and the Deputy Economic consultant at the French Embassy in Amman, Ms. Najwan Nakho.
 
Mr. Prevo Said that the aim of the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the board members of the association, was to identify opportunities for cooperation between private Jordanian hospitals and French companies in the medical field, exploring the needs of private hospitals sector of medical equipment and products, and evaluating the possibility of French companies involved in medical industries to enter Jordan market.
 
He added that the visit of the French delegation to Jordan aims to promote French and other medical exports to the Kingdom by promoting the French specialized industries and encouraging the Jordanian sectors, especially the health sector, to deal more with the various French products.
 
The Director of the Middle East region at the French Public Investment Bank said, the bank aims, with the support of the French government, to finance cooperation projects between French companies and private hospitals in Jordan after examining the needs of these hospitals from different medical devices.
The Vice President of the Private Hospitals Association said that there are good opportunities for French companies to enter the Jordanian market, especially as the health sector in Jordan depends on the open market and it uses equipment and medical consumables produced by several European countries and the United States.
 
He added that the marketing of French medical industries in the Jordanian market depends on competition in quality, efficiency and competing prices and provide agents for French companies manufactured in Jordan.
 
He added that the French authorities are concerned to play a greater role to promote French products, taking into account the subject of competition with other European countries in this area.
 
Dr. Zeidan said that the French government should highlight the subject of training Jordanian doctors and involve them in specialized courses, especially in the field of surgery, as France is considered an advanced country in this field.
