Private Hospitals Association (PHA) participated in "Seizing Tourism Market Opportunities in Times of Rapid Change Conference" that was organized by Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) in the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center (KHBTCC) Dead Sea – Jordan on 5th, 6th June 2012 and witnessed the participation of delegates representing 27 countries.
Private Hospitals Association director Mr. Abdallah Hindawi who represented the association in this conference hold fruitful meetings with representatives from KSA, Kuwait, Ukraine, Russia and Egypt who are sending patients for treatment abroad and discussed with them opportunities of medical tourism and sending patients from these countries for treatment in Jordan due to the remarkable development of this sector in Jordan and the advanced medical procedures in private Jordanian hospitals who achieved local and international accreditation and offer high quality medical services and competitive prices which are lower between 25 – 40 % of the same offered in other countries in the region which allowed Jordan to be ranked first regionally and fifth globally in health tourism.
