The Private Hospitals Association praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz initiative to hold a summit meeting to gather the leaders of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates to discuss ways to support Jordan in facing difficult economic conditions.

The Chairman of the Association Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri said that Jordan's exceptional circumstances are due to many reasons, including the security and political situation in the countries surrounding Jordan and the region and the resulting of migration large numbers of brothers to the Kingdom, most notably the Syrian refugees, which placed tremendous pressure on the Jordanian society and economy in various sectors, and the health sector in particular.

He added that the Gulf Arab countries position in supporting Jordan comes in recognition of the pressures the Kingdom faces and the importance and necessity of supporting it to overcome this crisis, which caused unprecedented popular movements in protest against the recent government measures, adding that the wisdom of the Hashemite leadership in dealing with this crisis and the awareness of the Jordanian citizens and the courage of the prime minister in charge of taking some decisions that contributed to calming the street has been credited with overcoming this crisis and we hope that the meeting in Mecca will make decisions that help to improve the economic situation in a sustainable manner that should be   felt  by the Jordanian citizen.
